If you want a hunting bullet that starts with Sierra’s MatchKing, this is it. The Tipped GameKing (TGK) is built on the MatchKing design: a tough copper jacket around a special lead alloy core, fitted with a transparent green polymer tip for ballistic uniformity. Sierra also markets it as the GameChanger. It has a tuned ogive designed for a high BC, a boat tail for stable flight and accuracy, and an open pocket under the tip that expands the lead core instantly on impact. Sierra says the design gives a flatter path, less drag, and reliable expansion across a range of hunting velocities.
This 6mm (.243") 90-grain bullet needs a barrel with a 1-in-9" twist or faster, so check your rifle first. We buy TGKs in bulk and bag them ourselves, and we pass the savings straight to you. A 250-count bag gets you a full season of 6mm hunting loads, plus some for practice, at a lot less than buying by the box.
