This is Nosler’s Assured Stopping Power (ASP) bullet in .45 caliber, a 230-grain jacketed hollow point built for duty, defense, and competition shooting. ASP evolved from Nosler’s match-grade Sporting Handgun bullets, and the key design feature is deep skives cut into the nose and jacket mouth. Nosler says those reliefs deliver rapid, consistent expansion across a range of impact velocities, transferring energy while limiting over-penetration, without giving up the accuracy and smooth feeding the Sporting Handgun line is known for. The lead core sits inside a copper-alloy jacket, and Nosler hand-inspects and polishes every ASP bullet to a bright finish. It’s made in the United States.
