At 180 grains, this .308 BTSP InterLock is built for hunters who want more bullet on target without giving up the boat tail's flatter trajectory downrange. Hornady's InterLock band locks the core to the jacket, so the bullet expands predictably and holds together rather than fragmenting on tougher, larger-bodied game. It's a heavier-for-caliber option for hunters working elk, bear, or other big game where extra weight and penetration matter more than a flat-shooting stat sheet. Hornady built this construction specifically to handle that kind of impact without falling apart.
