The .300 H&H Magnum is a belted magnum with a record at 1,000 yards. Holland & Holland introduced it in 1925 as the “Super-Thirty,” built on the .375 H&H case and necked down to take .308" bullets. In 1935, Ben Comfort won the Wimbledon Cup Match at 1,000 yards with it, and it won the 1937 international 1,000-yard competition. Winchester chambered it in the Model 70 in 1937. It’s also a capable cartridge for African plains game and most big game, which is why it’s a favorite with handloaders who want long-range accuracy and field use from one case.

A true classic that’s becoming hard to obtain. Because of its body taper they don’t last as long before they have to be discarded. Norma brass is heavier and you get a longer useful life from them. Quality control is outstanding and you get an exceptional product.
