Training ammunition has to do two things well: be affordable enough to shoot a lot of, and be forgiving of the places you shoot it. This SBR .40 S&W load uses a 125-grain copper-polymer frangible projectile designed for reduced ricochet and for use in close-range training environments.
The projectile is engineered to break apart on impact with hard surfaces, which minimizes splashback and over-penetration. That makes it a good fit for close-range drills, steel and hard-backed target work, and indoor or confined range sessions where conventional jacketed bullets raise concerns. As always, follow your range's rules on approved ammunition and target types.
SBR (Southern Ballistics Research) specializes in high-performance small arms cartridges and is deeply involved in .458 SOCOM ammunition.
We're clearing out SBR inventory to make room for incoming product, so this is a good time to stock up. Choose a single box of 50, a full case of 500 (10 boxes), or our special: buy 3 cases, get a 4th case free. That's 2,000 rounds, or 40 boxes of ammunition.
