Loaded with Lehigh Defense Controlled Chaos Bullets

This SBR load gives your 30-30 rifle a different bullet: a 140-grain Lehigh Defense Controlled Chaos, a lead-free monolithic copper projectile with a two-stage terminal design.

Lehigh describes how it works. When the bullet hits fluid, the front section sheds into multiple petals that spread outward from the bullet's path, producing what Lehigh calls a massive energy spike and a dramatic wound cavity that leads to quick incapacitation. The bore-diameter solid base keeps going, adding tissue damage and penetrating deeply in a straight line, which Lehigh says often results in full penetration of the animal. Lehigh adds that it doesn't expand or fragment on hard barriers like drywall, only in fluid. The result is a wound profile different from a traditional soft point, without giving up the penetration you need on deer-sized game.

SBR (Southern Ballistics Research) specializes in high-performance small arms cartridges and is deeply involved in .458 SOCOM ammunition.

We're clearing out SBR inventory to make room for incoming product, so this is a good time to stock up. Choose a single box of 20, a full case of 400 (20 boxes), or our special: buy 3 cases, get a 4th case free. That's 1,600 rounds, or 80 boxes of ammunition.

This projectile is lead-free and compliant with California's Proposition 65 restrictions on lead ammunition.
