Return Policy (US Only)
If there is a problem with your order, we will make every reasonable effort to make it right.
Ammunition
The U.S. Department of Transportation restricts ammunition returns. All ammunition sales are final, with returns only considered on a limited case by case basis.
General Return Policy
Customers may initiate a return by emailing admin@ravenrocksprecision.com. All returns must be processed and marked shipped within 30 days of the original date of order delivery. Please, include your order number and the reason for your return. Returns will be processed for new and unopened products, in resalable packaging. A 10% restocking fee applies for all returns, except for those made in error by Raven Rocks Precision. Regrettably, we do not refund the original cost of shipping. If there is product damage or the product is not as described, please contact us for an individualized solution. For firearms return policies, see below firearms policies and return exclusions.
Firearms
Raven Rocks Precision will ONLY transfer ownership of a firearm to individuals or agencies in possession of a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL). This means we cannot ship directly to you unless you are an FFL holder.
If you do not hold a valid FFL, we will transfer your purchased firearm to your choice of a licensed gun dealer in your state.
It is your responsibility:
- to ensure that a firearm is legal to own in your state. This includes magazines that exceed capacity restrictions in your state. If you purchase a firearm that comes with magazines that you cannot legally own, the firearm will ship without them as long as the firearm is legal to own. The magazines will not be replaced with lesser capacity magazines, nor will the buyer be reimbursed for the value of the removed magazines.
- to contact the FFL you would like the firearm
- to complete all required paperwork when you pick up your purchase from your local dealer, as well as pay any of the local dealer’s transfer fees, or any/all state and/or local fees/taxes associated with the firearm transfer.
Be aware that it is customary for your local dealer to charge a transfer fee at the time you pick up your purchase. This transfer fee is strictly between you and your local dealer. Please check with your local dealer concerning their policies. You do not pay Raven Rocks Precision a transfer fee.
The buyer is responsible for contacting their transferring FFL to request they send a copy of their FFL to us.
Returns Specific to Firearms
NEW FIREARM RETURNS
- VERY IMPORTANT – FIREARM RETURNS!! Please take your time to inspect all firearms thoroughly BEFORE proceeding with the transfer. Once a new firearm is transferred to you, it is considered used, even if un-fired. Consequently, we cannot accept returns on firearms once they have been transferred into your possession. Also, we DO NOT reimburse FFL transfer fees on returned items. **Upon discovering a defect AFTER the transfer, the firearm MUST be returned directly to the manufacturer for replacement or repair (in accordance with manufacturer’s warranty policy). By sending a defective firearm directly to the manufacturer, you can avoid the unnecessary transfer fees associated with returning the firearm to us through your local FFL dealer. Manufacturer repaired firearms can be returned directly to the customer without additional FFL transfer or associated fees.
- In the case of failed background checks and incorrect ordering original shipping charges are NOT refunded if the item is NOT found to be defective. Customers will be responsible for return shipping in these cases. These orders may be subject to a 10% restocking fee.
USED FIREARMS
- Used Guns: Customers have 5 calendar days from the date of transfer to request a return. We will accept a return on your used item for a full refund during this time frame if the item is malfunctioning. Shipping arrangements for the used item will be made solely at Raven Rocks Precision’s discretion.
- In the case of failed background checks and incorrect ordering original shipping charges are NOT refunded if the item is NOT found to be defective. Customers will be responsible for return shipping in these cases. These orders may be subject to a 10% restocking fee.
Return Exclusions
Returns will not be processed for used items, items not in original and resalable packaging, ammunition, custom orders, primers, primed brass, mounted scopes and altered brass. Any excluded items that are returned will be returned to you or discarded at no credit.
Follow These Steps to Initiate a Return:
Email Admin@ravenrocksprecision.com with the reason for your return, your order number, and any applicable pictures. If the return is authorized, package the return and send to the address given to you via email.
Return Policy (International Sales)
All international sales are final. No returns will be processed. In the case of an order error, please reach out to support@ravenrocksprecision.com.
