Return Policy
If there is a problem with your order, we will make every reasonable effort to make it right.
Terminology
Raven Rocks Precision may also be referred to herein as “our,” “we,” and “us.”
A Customer seeking to purchase one or more items from Raven Rocks Precision may also be referred to herein as “you,” “your,” or “buyer.”
General Return Policy
Customer satisfaction is a priority at Raven Rocks Precision. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return. Refunds or exchanges will be processed at our discretion after we receive and inspect any returned goods.
All returns must be unused and in their original packaging, undamaged and able to be re-sold. Items that cannot be resold will be returned to the customer. Returns must be shipped back to us within 30 days of the original date of order delivery. Please include your order number and the reason for your return.
A 10% restocking fee applies for all eligible returns, except for those made in error by Raven Rocks Precision. Shipping costs for returns are generally non-refundable.
If there is product damage or the product is not as described, please contact us for an individualized solution. For policies specific to firearms and returns thereof, see below.

Ammunition
The U.S. Department of Transportation restricts ammunition returns. All ammunition sales are final, with returns only considered on a limited case-by-case basis.
Firearms Transfer
Raven Rocks Precision will ONLY transfer ownership of a firearm to individuals or agencies in possession of a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL). This means that we cannot ship directly to a customer that is not an FFL holder.
If you do not hold a valid FFL, we will transfer your purchased firearm to your choice of a FFL dealer in your state, and that chosen FFL dealer will then be able to transfer the firearm to you.
It is your responsibility:
- to ensure that a firearm is legal to own in your state. This includes magazines that exceed capacity restrictions in your state. If you purchase a firearm that comes with magazines that you cannot legally own, the firearm will ship without the magazines as long as the firearm is legal to own. The magazines will not be replaced with lesser capacity magazines, nor will the buyer be reimbursed for the value of the removed magazines.
- to contact the FFL to which you would like the firearm to be shipped
- to complete all required paperwork when you pick up your purchase from your chosen FFL dealer, as well as pay any of the chosen FFL dealer’s transfer fees, or any/all state and/or local fees/taxes associated with the firearm transfer.
Be aware that it is customary for your chosen FFL dealer to charge a transfer fee at the time you pick up your purchase. This transfer fee is strictly between you and your chosen FFL dealer. Please check with your chosen FFL dealer concerning their policies. You do not pay Raven Rocks Precision a transfer fee.
The buyer is responsible for contacting their chosen FFL dealer to request that the chosen FFL dealer send a copy of their FFL to us.
Returns Specific to Firearms
NEW FIREARM RETURNS
- VERY IMPORTANT – FIREARM RETURNS!! Please take your time to inspect all firearms thoroughly BEFORE proceeding with the transfer from your chosen FFL dealer. Once a new firearm is transferred to you from the FFL dealer, it is considered used, even if un-fired. Consequently, we cannot accept returns on firearms once they have been transferred into your possession from the FFL dealer. Also, we DO NOT reimburse FFL transfer fees on returned items.
- **Upon discovering a defect AFTER the transfer from your chosen FFL dealer, the firearm MUST be returned directly to the manufacturer for replacement or repair (in accordance with manufacturer’s warranty policy). Manufacturer repaired firearms can be returned directly to the customer without additional FFL transfer or associated fees.
- In the case of failed background checks and incorrect ordering, original shipping charges are NOT refunded if the item is NOT found to be defective. Customers will be responsible for return shipping in these cases. These orders may be subject to a 10% restocking fee.
USED FIREARM RETURNS
- Used Guns: Customers have five (5) calendar days from the date of transfer from their chosen FFL dealer to request a return. We will accept a return on your used item for a full refund during this time frame if the item is malfunctioning. Shipping arrangements for the used item will be made solely at Raven Rocks Precision’s discretion.
- In the case of failed background checks and incorrect ordering, original shipping charges are NOT refunded if the item is NOT found to be defective. Customers will be responsible for return shipping in these cases. These orders may be subject to a 10% restocking fee.
Return Exclusions
Except as noted above for used firearms, returns will not be processed for used items, items not in original and resalable packaging, ammunition, custom orders, primers, primed brass, mounted scopes and altered brass. Any excluded items or unauthorized returns that are returned to us will be returned to you or discarded at no credit.
Follow These Steps to Initiate a Return:
Email Support@ravenrocksprecision.com with the reason for your return, your order number, and any applicable pictures. If the return is authorized, package the return and send to the address given to you via email.
