Product Overview
Romeo Lima (Reduced Lead) Exposure Total Metal Jacket - Made in the USA
Parapet 9mm (.355") Total Metal Jacket (TMJ) Projectiles offer precision, consistency, and safety in one of the most versatile and widely used pistol calibers. These projectiles are engineered for performance as well as minimizing exposure to lead. Great for indoor ranges, high volume shooters, or anyone else looking to minimize lead exposure while maintaining performance. Pair with our new lead-free primed 9mm brass for even more benefits.
Key Features & Performance Benefits
1. Formed Copper Jacket (No Plating)
Each Parapet TMJ bullet is jacketed using solid C22000 copper stock, formed—not plated—on a 33-ton high-precision transfer press. This construction method:
Fully encapsulates the lead core, including the base, greatly minimizing lead vaporization.
Avoids flaking, cracking, or jacket separation under pressure—common issues with plated bullets.
Suppressor-safe, handles +P and magnum loads, and performs reliably even at maximum velocities.
Has no crimping force restrictions, offering flexibility for various loading platforms and dies.
2. Match-Grade Consistency
With ultra-low dimensional standard deviation, these projectiles deliver consistent seating depth, weight uniformity, and polished surfaces. The result is tight groupings and reliable feeding, even under high-volume production settings.
3. Reduced Lead Exposure
The full copper encapsulation eliminates exposed lead at the base. This dramatically reduces airborne lead levels during firing—especially critical in indoor ranges or for commercial loaders. When paired with lead-free primers, these projectiles can significantly reduce or eliminate lead particulate exposure.
Ideal Use Cases
These projectiles are well-suited for:
High-volume reloading operations -- great for competitive shooters (USPSA, IDPA)
Shooters using ported compensators, where base exposure to gases can otherwise be problematic.
Indoor training facilities requiring lower lead emissions.
Anyone looking to maximize accuracy and cut down on lead exposure.
