These are brand new 22 Caliber (.224") 100gr Protected Point Flat Base bullets for loading 223 Remington / 5.56 NATO. These bullets are designed to expand at supersonic velocities and cycle in standard magazine fed semi-auto rifles. With firearm modification, they may cycle at subsonic in semi-auto rifles (will not expand at subsonic velocities). Originally designed for a foreign market (military and civilian use), they're now available for hand loaders in the US. Made in the USA by Mead.
