Manufacturer Description:
The ARX is revolutionary from the way it’s manufactured, to its shape, to the way it transfers energy to the target. ARX projectiles are injection-molded from a specially blended polymer-copper matrix that is designed to be tough enough for an all-purpose defense round.
Unlike hollow points which must expand to achieve their desired terminal effect, non-expanding ARX projectiles are designed and proven to provide consistent terminal performance. Upon entering soft tissue, the specially designed grooves in the nose harness soft tissue and constrict, pressurize and eject it at 1.5 to 2 times the directional speed of the bullet. This is the well-known Venturi Effect. As the bullet penetrates, it tumbles in a controlled, predictable fashion that delivers consistent terminal performance that equals or exceeds conventional hollow-point designs without over-penetrating. These rounds are frangible on hardened steel.
Inceptor ARX Preferred Defense rounds have an ARX nose profile and are designed to function in all weapons, including large-frame handguns, carbines and automatic weapons. Due to the lightweight ARX bullet, it has a low-recoil signature translating into less muzzle rise and quicker on-target follow-up shots in critical defense situations. The design and composition of the projectiles also mean less cleaning and wear-and-tear on your gun.

9mm ARX
Very accurate. Must be loaded hot. Very little recoil. Will buy again. Great price.

Great projectiles
I know these are supposed to be a good projectile for self defense. I cant say anything about that. I have loaded 9000 of these to shoot into paper targets though. They are a great economical practice round for me. They are accurate and cheap. I load them with 6.9 grains of CFE Pistol powder. Supposed to push them to 1700fps.

ARX 9mm load data issues
Found these bullets while surfing the internet looking for a less expensive range option. Ordered 1000 in 9mm and 500 in 45 ACP. Got free shipping and they came to my door fast! Bullets look and feel amazing. They are definitely not match and are not advertised as such. But they are very close. Load date says to use anywhere from 4.6 low to 4.8 grains of Tight group as an option. Well they won’t cycle in my Glock 19 or my Staccato C2. Does not seem to have enough recoil to function. The rounds that did go bang seemed somewhat accurate though. Now, will I get better results with some different powders or by pushing my max load with tight group. It’s possible not likely considering that t try he pressures are higher with Tightgroup than most other powder. I’ll continue to work on this issue and adjust my review if necessary. So far it’s a bust for me

9mm ARX
Excellent protection and target practice bullets. Very accurate and leaves no residue in the barrel. Easy to load, very smooth operation.

devastating velocity
These come out of pistols at carbine velocities and explode a bottle full of water like a rifle round does. Tell me that the effect of hydrostatic force is amazingly high do to the velocity. Velocity is the winner. Smaller bullet higher velocity more stopping power. They will defeat a bullet proof vest from what I've found out. Clean through the whole thing front to back. With a kevlar trauma plate it even goes through that!

PCC loads
Works great in my PCC with a 10.5 in barrel.

Great bullet for self-defense, at this price you can use them for practice
Low recoil accurate and safe on steel. Inexpensive enough to use as practice ammo.
