Manufacturer Description:
The ARX is revolutionary from the way it’s manufactured, to its shape, to the way it transfers energy to the target. ARX projectiles are injection-molded from a specially blended polymer-copper matrix that is designed to be tough enough for an all-purpose defense round.
Unlike hollow points which must expand to achieve their desired terminal effect, non-expanding ARX projectiles are designed and proven to provide consistent terminal performance. Upon entering soft tissue, the specially designed grooves in the nose harness soft tissue and constrict, pressurize and eject it at 1.5 to 2 times the directional speed of the bullet. This is the well-known Venturi Effect. As the bullet penetrates, it tumbles in a controlled, predictable fashion that delivers consistent terminal performance that equals or exceeds conventional hollow-point designs without over-penetrating. These rounds are frangible on hardened steel.
Inceptor ARX Preferred Defense rounds have an ARX nose profile and are designed to function in all weapons, including large-frame handguns, carbines and automatic weapons. Due to the lightweight ARX bullet, it has a low-recoil signature translating into less muzzle rise and quicker on-target follow-up shots in critical defense situations. The design and composition of the projectiles also mean less cleaning and wear-and-tear on your gun.

Really Impressed
This is the first time I've tried loading these ARX and all I can say is WOW! I followed others advice and removed my crimp on my Lee Pro 4000. I didn't get to run them through the chrono but at 25ft ran a 1 in group from a Girsan 1911 and my Tisas Zigana FC consistently. The recoil was amazingly light and flat. I passed a few out to friends at the range only to have them all come back wanting more. I'm not and FFL so I can't sell them but I did direct them to the Raven Rock site to order their own. I'm sitting down now to order a full case. These are going to be my range ammo for the foreseeable future. I did get to run a couple into jell and the wound channel was devastating. I need to work up an EDC load now.

65gr ARX .355" bullets
These bullets are fantastic!! Great accuracy, load easily and the price is great! Using published data from Hodgdon, these easily exceed 1700 fps out my G19 using CFE Pistol powder. Recoil is mild even at the high velocity due to the low bullet weight. I have shot these at close range steel with no adverse effects. I'll be running them out of a 16" carbine soon. The velocity ought to be really great out of the long barrel. great product at a great price. Thanks!!

Frangible bulllets ARX 65 grain.
Great product and great service. I have shot many of these in the past and I can tell you they are problem free. The only thing you can't do with them is over crimp. Just take the bell out of the case. Over crimping will cause them to break off. For those of you who asked me about load data you can find it here. https://inceptorammo.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/9ARX355-65-9mm-Luger-65-Grains-ARX-Inceptor.pdf I have spoken with Bill at the headquarters and he was very pleasant and helpful. Call them if you have questions he's great to deal with.

Excellent.
These are surprisingly accurate bullets. I loaded these up with 6.6 grains of Vihtavouri n340 at 1.155 COL with Win Small Pistol primers. Don't crimp the case as these are frangible just make sure the case mouth is at the sammi spec. I'm getting 1610 fps with an ES 40 and SD of 20. Please work up to a safe pistol load for yourself but I'm ringing steel at 50 yards on a 12 inch plate consistently with my 1911 Girsan Noel. I hope there are more of these!
